HM Stormbinder: Shock me Sane!

I can’t help but wonder if the Blizzard Developers had old-school psychiatric treatment in mind when they designed this fight – hell knows that after a while we probably could have gone a few rounds of electro-shocks and ice-bath treatments! Of course like most women, Hagara was one stubborn lady and a tough nut to crack – this biatch would not die! This encounter required a whole lot of precision, patience and more than little trial and error while we worked out the best strat for us. With so many ‘optimal’ ways flying through the web, we had to test quite a few before we found one that fit.

Aside from the boss herself, we also had the ‘attendance boss’ rear its head and a public holiday fall in our path and require some navigation. We worked on Hagara in bite-size chunks, which was probably more frustrating than sitting on her for hours at a time. 10 wipes here. 12 wipes there. It felt like we’d go 2 steps forward and take 3 steps back. But, We took what we could get however and ploughed on slowly but surely. Often it felt like we were never going to get a kill. Tempers flared, patience waned… everyone was well and truly over this pesky shaman!

Finally we got our first full night on her and the magic happened! The stars aligned, nobody d/ced, tombs were handled perfectly (spowerr popsicle anyone?) and we were on target for enrage! Our kill was clean! Definitely can’t complain – well done everyone. DS HM’s are definitely proving to be a challenge and are only going to get tougher! Keep calm guys, we’ll get through them =)
